The AWESOME work of God!

So I have to catch up on the weeks as even though I don't do alot during the week I never think to update my blog (semi fail)
I think this will be one of my most FAV blogs to write!

So on Thursday night (4 weeks ago) I was sitting in the apartment watching Will & Grace - same old same old & I could hear a guitar being played, so I muted the TV & then there was singing & I knew the song. I was in the process of talking to Gem and I explained what I had heard and she pushed me to go investigate it more...so I did - I walked out of the apartment and walked past the room where it was coming from. There was about 8 students sitting and singing. Gem is like just walk in and be like 'Oh hey' I couldn't do it... just as that happened one of the girls walked out of the room and sat on the floor outside. I knew this was my moment to introduce myself and investigate what was going on, so I did. I said that I was a christian and I loved the song you were just all singing..she explained that they are a small group and then invited me to join - I said yes, give me 5mins to change (i was wearing another college sweat pants - which I have been told is a massive NO NO) So i entered the room and from that moment forward I was welcomed and the rest is memories and history.

Thursday's became my new favorite night & little did I know that would change again. The following week I was then invited to go to karaoke after small group and there I meet approx 15 other christian students. We sang and danced in a restaurant (Apple-bee's) and there began some great friendships.        I then was told on Friday night there was a worship service on campus - I was so excited as it had been a very long time since I had been to church, so I went and it was yet another awesome night with friends and meeting more people (by this stage - people are like Ohh your the "Australian" I laughed and said yes) I have started going to a church and have continued to go every week and get blessed by the 20min car ride with some awesome guys as well as the worship service.

I will say this, God works in awesome ways & I always knew that this move to USA was His plan, I thought it was for performing, yet I know that was not the full plan.
These last 4 weeks I have been challenged, words of love and life spoken to me. I'm starting to think that this move to USA was not fully for performing, yet I was to find my feet as a person and grow spiritually and performing would be a bonus. If I am to come home in a month or 6 months, I know that my time was used well and I have not failed.

I was sent a mudlove bracelet that has the word 'Faith' written on it, with this there was a letter that said that it would help me to Keep trusting in God
Jenna I have worn this everyday and it is an awesome reminder - Thankyou!
I could write about so many people I have met and how they are influencing my life and making such an impact, yet this would be a massively long blog (so if you wanna know more in depth - Just message me :D )
I also want to say here - A huge thank you to my aussie friends and family who have not forgotten about me and have continued to prayer and bless my life from afar.
The messages, presents & video messages from friends make it all worth it!!

Stand firm in Faith

Be Strong.

And we're off...

Ok so semi failing at writing one of these each week but will try and catch you up!

I left you last time with the Disney audition in Florida, well i'm still waiting to hear back from them. Its now been over 1 month so I'm no longer holding my breath - but would gladly accept the position when they HOLLA at me.

So I'm currently living in Newark, Delaware with my friend Lauren. We have a very nice apartment and I'm so blessed!! I have started to decorate the house with  handmade Halloween crafts  - just some flying bats & in my room I have made orange and black bats across my back wall. I have also got my Halloween costume and for now its a surprise!

So goodone Australia for throwing a voting whilst I'm overseas. But it was good as I went to NYC for the day and it was even better as I meant up with a friend from Australia Amy Woodward, firstly we havn't seen each other since Red Shield Kids Camp many years ago so it was lovely to walk around the city and visit those hidden places have coffee and good food + I missed the aussie accent! It was another beautiful day in NYC

I did my first NYC open Broadway Touring production audition and that was exciting. I auditioned for Bring it On the Musical. For those of you saying - hmm Nathan can't cheer or flip... well your right, but there was singing roles open, so when in NYC why not?? "You never know, if you never try" it really opened my eyes to the culture of auditions and the performers in NYC great learning experience.

The following week 2 Aussie friends went on a holiday to NYC for 2 weeks. So Wednesday I woke up and made my way to NYC to spend a day and a half in the 'concrete jungle' we visited the Statue of Liberty, boat ride, tours on the buses & Twin Towers and just had a super awesome day in NYC. That night we went to a Yankee's Game and you just have to go to a massive baseball game to feel the energy - Its like a whole other world inside.

I have been to 2 weddings since being over here & I have decided that from now on I will start to charge if requested to attend more (jokes)

Just the other week I auditioned for Disney Cruise Lines so 2 trips to NYC (but who is complaining) vocal and animation. What a wonderful experience - I have never seen an audition run on time and so proper and respectful with the way we were treated.

I am still continued to be blessed with wonderful opportunities!!!
